WHAT IS THE SHOW ALL ABOUT?
Great news for you! We welcome you to attend the biggest Gluten Free Food Show held in Australia. Set aside October 11-12th 2008 in your diaries for an event that you will not forget.... held over 2 days, to ensure you can enjoy the best of irresistible gluten free!
The Irresistible Gluten Free Food Show is an exciting Food Expo featuring the great range of foods and goods available to people interested in gluten free, wheat free diets, general good health, for those with coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and other food intolerances. It is an Expo for the general public, food industry and health professionals: all "foodies"! To recognise and support the special needs of the visitors attending, only gluten free food is permitted at the Show. As these delicious foods are wheat-free, many will also suitable for people with fructose malabsorption (a type of wheat intolerance) and irritable bowel syndrome.

Taste, try and buy bread, cakes, biscuits, slices, pies, pastries, dips, snack foods, complete meals, confectionery, beer, sauces, smallgoods,condiments. Many foods also vegetarian, organic and allergen free.

Visitors attending receive a free Show Bag (while stocks last).
Many companies will have food products for you to sample on the day. Most will have products that you can purchase. Be aware that some companies will only offer cash sales, as they do not have credit card or EFTPOS facilities. ATM machines are located in the foyer.

When: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October 2008 9.00am - 4.00pm
Where: Melbourne Exhibition Centre (opposite Crown Complex) Bays 1-3 (Crown Complex end).
Parking: 1060 undercover parking spaces managed by Wilson Parking (entrance off Normanby Road)
Weekend $10 per 24 hours (from 6am Saturday until 6am Monday). Parking also available nearby at Crown Casino.
Public Transport:
Tram routes that travel past the Melbourne Exhibition Centre are:
Route 96 (St Kilda to East Brunswick) - travels through the city via Bourke Street
Route 109 (Port Melbourne to Box Hill) - travels through the city via Collins Street
Route 112 (West Preston to St Kilda) - travels along Clarendon Street in South Melbourne and travels through the city via Collins Street
Train: Spencer and Flinders Street stations are a short stroll from the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Catering: Food and beverages will be available for sale from the Melbourne Exhibition Centre kiosk within the Show. The kiosk menu will be gluten free.

*Individuals with dietary wheat intolerances should check ingredients prior to purchase and consumption to ensure suitability. Foods containing ingredients derived from wheat but with no detectable gluten will be permitted at the Show. All foods at the Show will be gluten free.
