ABOUT THE AUTHOR - SUE SHEPHERD
Sue Shepherd B.App.Sci (Health Promotion), M. Nutrition & Dietetics, Adv A.P.D, is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian who also has Coeliac Disease. She has extensive knowledge of gluten-free food and nutrition, which she has used to produce the delicious range of recipes within all of her cookbooks.
Sue Shepherd has presented on radio, television and also at national and international medical conferences on Coeliac Disease. She has also presented at national conferences on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and is also currently in the final phases of her PhD research in coeliac disease and IBS. She is recognised as one of Australia's leading dietitians in the area of Coeliac Disease. She writes regularly for the Australian Coeliac Magazine, has assisted in the production of many medical articles and papers, consults to food manufacturing companies, has assisted in the review of gluten-free status of ingredients, runs education sessions for dietitians, other health professionals and the general public, and has a private practice specialising in clients with Coeliac Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
